I Need to Find My Daughter: MapleStory Classic Quest Route
Follow Bruce and Ayan through both parts of I Need to Find My Daughter, with prerequisite checks, Toy Sword and Letter hand-ins.
This two-part quest takes you from Bruce in Henesys to Ayan in Perion, then back to Bruce. The current community walkthrough lists level 11 and completion of The Stump Horror Story and The Reason Behind the Mushroom Studies as prerequisites.
Check the prerequisites
The quest may appear as I Need to Find My Daughter 1 and I Need to Find My Daughter 2 while you progress. Check the active stage before travelling. If Bruce has no matching dialogue, inspect both prerequisite quests and your level; a later Citizenship story involving the same family is not this quest.

Before each trip, open the quest inventory and confirm that you received the named item. A dialogue can move the story forward without you noticing the next conversation option. After delivering the sword, talk to Ayan again; returning to Bruce without the letter leaves the second hand-in unfinished.
Rewards
The community walkthrough lists 504 EXP and 760 mesos across the chain, with five Meat and fifteen Blue Potions. Treat these as chain totals rather than a reward promised at every conversation. Read each stage's reward window and keep the quest item separate from ordinary equipment.
Troubleshooting the hand-in
If the item is absent, re-open the current quest instructions and revisit the NPC who should have issued it. Check the completed list before attempting to restart part 1. If your log names a different family quest, follow that quest's own requirements instead of discarding items to match this route.
Plan the two-town trip alongside other Henesys or Perion errands to reduce travel overhead. For the separate town-residency introduction at level 12, use To the Gray City.
