MapleStory Classic To the Gray City: Arthur to Roxy
Complete To the Gray City, Kerning City: level 12 requirement, prerequisite quest, Arthur and Roxy locations, rewards and missing-quest checks.
At level 12 or above, finish To Henesys, the Prairie Town with Arthur, then take To the Gray City, Kerning City and speak to Roxy inside Kerning City Civic Center. This is a Citizenship introduction, not a monster hunt or a KPQ stage.

The community NPC reference places Arthur in the middle of Henesys Town Hall and Roxy at the far right of Kerning City Civic Center. Use the building name as well as the town name: searching the outdoor street alone can miss the clerk.
Before leaving Henesys
Open the quest log and confirm the Gray City entry is active. If Arthur is still offering the Prairie Town quest, complete that conversation first. The two names refer to consecutive quests; travelling to Kerning City does not automatically complete the earlier one.
Use the world map to locate Kerning City and choose a connection available to your character. If using a taxi, read the destination and fare before confirming. Once in town, look for Civic Center rather than the party-quest entrance.
Rewards and next step
Bubbling's current quest entry lists 334 EXP, 409 mesos, eight Red Potions and eight Blue Potions. Check the reward window before accepting if your client differs. After hearing Roxy's explanation, return to the clerk of the town you want to join and follow the Citizenship guide. Completing this introduction is not the same as meeting the housing grade requirement.
Why is the quest missing?
- Below level 12: continue levelling before checking Arthur again.
- Prerequisite unfinished: complete To Henesys, the Prairie Town first.
- Already completed: inspect the completed-quest list rather than searching for a repeatable board task.
- Wrong NPC: Roxy is the town clerk; Lakelis handles KPQ.
Keep the exact English quest name available when playing another client language. This guide concerns Global Classic World, whose town system differs from old MapleStory servers.
