Unlock Crafting at level 10, match each profession to its NPC and check a recipe before spending materials.

Crafting opens at level 10. Visit the NPC for the profession you need, choose an available recipe and check its required materials. Nexon describes it as a new system for Classic World, so an old MapleStory equipment recipe may not apply.

The names above follow the official release notes. Use the profession and NPC name together when finding the relevant service in the current client.

Before you press Craft

  1. Check the finished item's job, level and attribute requirements. A higher-level item is not useful if you cannot equip it.
  2. Read the required quantities and compare them with your inventory. Keep quest materials separate from surplus materials.
  3. Check the total material cost against a directly purchased alternative. Leave enough mesos for potions and travel.
  4. Confirm the recipe and quantity in the NPC interface, then inspect the result in your inventory.

Nexon says crafting builds proficiency and unlocks more recipes. It does not publish a complete progression-cost table in the launch notes. This page identifies the services and decision steps; it does not present an unverified recipe database or claim a cheapest leveling route.

What to do next

Use the stat guide to check equipment requirements. Citizenship is a separate town system, while housing concerns your account's home. Unlocking one does not replace the other's requirements.
