Mark of the Beta: First Mark & Journal Page Locations
Start with Jay at level 25, follow all six journal destinations and track your route through the Mark of the Beta event.
Speak to Jay in Henesys at level 25 or above and accept The Marks We Leave Behind. Nexon lists the event through November 18, 2026 at 23:59 UTC. The route below is community-reported; it is not a record of our own playthrough.
Follow the journal in order
| Quest | Destination | Where the community route places the page |
|---|---|---|
| The First Mark | The Pig Beach | Lower-left ground, between the trees near the cliff |
| The Second Mark | Someone Else's House | The mushroom house doorway |
| The Third Mark | Marr's Forest | Right end of the lowest platform |
| The Fourth Mark | Mong from Kong, Kerning City | Beside the pharmacy; the reference lists 10 mesos |
| The Fifth Mark | The Land of Wild Boar II | Second small stepping stone from the left |
| The Final Mark | Ant Tunnel Park | Upper-right area below the Grave of Mushmom portal |
Getting to the hidden maps
The Pig Beach branches from 3-Way Road-Split. Someone Else's House is behind Pig Park II. Marr's Forest is reached from Ellinia. The hidden entrance for The Land of Wild Boar II is at the upper-right of East Domain of Perion. Ant Tunnel Park is reached beyond Deep Ant Tunnel II. Use the current map names and your quest journal to confirm each stage before moving on.
Keep your place
If a page is missing
Confirm that the correct step is active and the previous step was completed. Check the event deadline in UTC and the level requirement. The NPC event instructions take precedence over an old beta guide. The community source also provides marked maps if you need a visual location reference.
Your reward
The chain leads to the Mark of the Beta hat. Keep it separate from ordinary equipment when selling to NPCs. This is an in-game event; an unrelated website's profile badge or registration promotion is not the same reward.
