Plan your equipment before secondary stats
DEX is your main stat. Check the STR requirement of your intended bow or crossbow and count bonuses already supplied by your equipment. A fixed AP ratio can leave points tied up in a requirement you did not need. The stat guide explains the shared decision process.
Your first attack choices
The current community guide compares Arrow Blow, a single heavier shot, with Double Shot, a pair of shots. Eye of Amazon improves reach; positioning still matters when a monster closes the gap. Compare the MP and arrow cost needed to finish an actual enemy, rather than reading only the displayed damage of one shot.
Prepare your training session
Bring compatible arrows and enough potion money for the return trip. A distant map loses its appeal if every refill interrupts your session. Test a nearby map before committing to a longer route. These are planning checks, not measured EXP-per-hour claims.
